We collect the minimum we need to run the Service and never sell data. Plain English below.
What we collect
- Email address — when you join the waitlist, subscribe, or sign in.
- Prompts you write + tracks you generate — stored so we can serve the audio + improve prompt quality.
- Payment metadata — Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, last 4 of card. Full card numbers NEVER touch our servers.
- Anonymous analytics — Fathom Analytics (no cookies, no IP retention) for page views and conversion tracking.
- Feedback ratings + tags — thumbs up/down on tracks, used to improve the AI prompt layer.
- IP address — kept short-term for rate limiting + spam prevention, NEVER tied to your email in logs.
Third parties we share data with
- fal.ai + ElevenLabs — your prompt is sent to generate audio. They process under their own privacy terms.
- Stripe — handles all payments. We never see card details.
- Resend — sends transactional emails (receipts, welcome).
- Fathom — privacy-first analytics. No cross-site tracking.
- Anthropic / Google — Claude Haiku writes structured prompts from your input; Nano Banana generates cover art.
We don't sell, rent, or trade your data with anyone else. We don't train AI models on your prompts.
Cookies
We use localStorage to remember your billing email, captured-email flag, and saved tracks. No third-party cookies. No advertising trackers.
Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can:
- Access — request a copy of your data.
- Delete — request full account + track deletion.
- Export — receive your prompts + tracks as a ZIP.
- Object — opt out of feedback-loop training data.
Email privacy@songstab.com with your billing email — we respond within 5 business days.
Data retention
Prompts and generated tracks: kept for the life of your account. Account deletion removes prompts + saved tracks within 30 days. Stripe-side billing records are retained 7 years for tax purposes (legal requirement).
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a minor signed up, email privacy@songstab.com and we'll delete the account.
Changes
We'll update the date at the top when this changes. Significant changes get a notice in the dashboard with a 30-day window.
